Stronger Than the Storm

A Poem for the Girl who Never Gave up

By Tamseela FarooqPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

She's been through so much in her life,
Faced more than her fair share of strife.
Her father died when she was young,
Leaving her feeling lost and alone.

As the eldest, she took on a lot,
Responsibility, pressure, and whatnot.
Her family issues weighed her down,
But she refused to let them make her drown.

Her love life was a mess, full of pain,
She gave her heart, but it was in vain.
Betrayed by those she trusted most,
She felt like she was nothing but a ghost.

But even when the world was unkind,
She never lost her strength of mind.
She picked herself up time and again,
Even when it felt like she couldn't win.

Through it all, she learned to be tough,
And that she was stronger than the rough.
She found her way and stood up tall,
Refusing to let life make her fall.

So, to the girl who never gave up,
Who faced every challenge with a cup
Of courage and a heart that's strong,
Remember, you're where you belong.

You've faced the storm and come out whole,
And that's a testament to your soul.
You're a survivor, you're a fighter,
And you'll always be a shining light, brighter.
