A lost discovery

I was your pidgeon

A new discovery

A handy one

Usefull even

You discoverd that

I could help you

Make life easier

Prettier

Until there came a new discovery

A handy one

Usefull even but better

Prettier

Now i am a pidgeon

They used to think i was their most precious discovery

Now i get treated like dirt

A flying rat is my nickname

I am no longer your favourite belonging

But i still am out here on the streets

I am still me

I still fly

I am still beautiful

Just not to you
