Day Dream

when music speaks

Maybe my daydream

is my muse, maybe

my muse is my daydream

how will I know

where one ends and

the other begins

thoughts tangle together

press in with warm

abandon and reckless

depth, diving into

uncharted flights between

real and fantasy

wide asleep

eyes closed wide

in broad daylight

without cover of night

tears afraid

of falling

cling

to my eyelashes

but my daydream

looks into my eyes and sees

forever

my daydream

holds me and feels

two hearts become one

my daydream

kisses me breathless

two souls intertwined

as fruited vines

my daydream

thinks I'm

perfect

in my

daydream.

another world

another lifetime

my daydream

will find me.

This poem beautifully captures the blurred lines between reality and imagination, longing and fulfillment. "Thoughts tangle together / press in with warm / abandon and reckless / depth" -- This vividly portrays the immersive power of daydreams. The ending, with its hopeful yearning, leaves a lingering sense of bittersweet beauty.🌞🩶🤎

This is so beautiful, tender, and sweet. I also love the song choice! It goes so perfectly with your poem.
