Stray No More

For all the young girls who were hurt so bad, this is for you.

By Gabbie B.Published 3 years ago 1 min read

The shadows enveloped her.

The longer she strayed,

The longer she suffered.

And the harder it was to get up.

She had been burned,

So bad

She had been kicked,

So bad

She had been abandoned,

So bad

But she had always gotten up.

She faced towards the sun

And she never let herself forget,

The shadows of her past.

And she never let herself forgive,

The ones who burned her...

Kicked her...

Abandoned her.

This time there would be no more shadows

Because her light would swallow them.

And she knew that this time

They would never hurt her

So bad again.
