Strangers

The good, the bad, and the ugly

Strangers are weird

>>

We don’t talk to them.

They could be evil.

Sworn enemies we’re yet to make.

>>

Or friends we’re yet to meet?

>>

An enigma wrapped in a social puzzle.

How do we fit together if we keep ourselves apart?

>>

But the lovers make me curious.

Unravelling the mystery of desire.

One shrouded in civil courtesies.

It’s all confusing to me…

A friendly smile?

Or an invitation for more?

>>

It's a game of chess

And I don't know how to play.

>>

A friend or a lover?

A lover or a foe?

Or both.

I never know.

>>

From a story to a footnote.

How do I know?

…Their intentions

Their moral code.

>>

Who will help me

And who will hurt me?

Who will watch me

And who will record me?

>>

A stranger is…

So much

And so little.

>>

Life’s greatest riddle.
