I see you so excited

Your colors look like mine, flipped around and shadowy and perfect, reversed and voluminous and dreamy

Your voice hits my heart

Like a symphonic melody

We are so excited

We build a fort of mud and sticks and rocks

I am so excited

You take my hand

We are free

Mixed emotions are carrying us

As I speak instructions your understanding follows yours hands, carrying the order like a telepathic link

You are free

I see you carry your orders with exact detail,

So precise with the way your hands build up, up, up

And I cannot let myself feel the time slip away

We are one.

If we couldn’t see it before,

We could have been stranded

So apart

So alone

So far away,

But here we are,

The barrier is invisible

Our new language is similar to what I once felt in my dreams,

A new sort of home,

Stranded is there,

With you

And we are dreaming about it,

And Bluey, I’ll be there waiting for you.
