Sid B. Simon

has a book

I never read mon

heard the story and took

liberties by repeating it

and possibly even changing

it and maybe even a good bit

you see I would not know

if it is allegory

as I never read no

I never read the story

So I will share it here

for those who may have read it there

And maybe you can share

with me and us the true story of thus

and I will fix it so as not to make a fuss.

A young girl would gather vulture food from being bullied and from negative family interaction. She was taking it all in as her father and mother did before her. All that vulture food. She could see the vultures moving in circles above her.

As she aged, she didn't need the bullies to provide the vulture food, or the negative interaction from home. She provided the vulture food by telling herself what a loser she was, how her nose was too big and her eyes too small and she doesn't know how to dress and besides that she is dumb.

As she is saying all of that or even just thinking it that vulture is growing fat above her head and when he can barely fly anymore, he starts to bop on the top of her head instead of flying just like that. This young woman had a friend that couldn't take watching it any more, and said, "you have to say stop, anytime you are feeding that vulture and then reach up and say out loud as you pluck those feathers, pluck you vulture, pluck you!"

All of my program participants love this story

And why would that be you ask, is it because I work with people who can relate, and are maybe doing this to themselves. I know I could relate and you see, I will still reach up periodically and say, pluck you vulture, as a good reminder to take good care of me.
