what a time to not know your path

what a time to cry and laugh

but every time I look around

in today’s world

you have to act cool

u have to make jokes

and pretend you like every fool

oh boy don’t you cry

they only like you when you smile

and with your problems

go bother someone else

for instance

someone who truly cares

QUIET FOR TOO LONG

unspoken words are coming out

when it gets too hard to hold them

you shout

that you were taken the right

as if your tongue was cut out

but now the voices are too loud

in your head they’re like storm cloud

you’re using those arguments you’ve been saving for years

and you’re finally able to stop all the tears
