Stop the World, I Want to Get Off
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 28

It’s a strange, strange world that we live in, Aunty Jack,
We live our lives at a hectic pace,
And not one day will we get back.
Topsy-Turvy, up and down, what would you replace?
Life is one big game.
If topsy is good and tury is bad, where’s your usual place?
If your life is turvy, not so good, well that’s a real shame.
A topsy world, then sing out loud, put on a happy face.
Stop the world I want to get off!
That's the stage I’m in,
Too much turvy, not enough topsy,
It got my head in a spin,
Ups and downs and all around,
I don’t know where to begin,
Like a clock that has been overwound,
Stop the world, I want to get off!
Till next time,
Calvin
