Body whispers, "stop..."
Dirt pauses and considers the word *stop* for a moment before continuing with the task(s) at hand.
Body says, "Stop..."
Dirt pauses to remember this word from not-so-distant past life, and moves forward again.
Body states, "Stop."
Dirt hears this as a whisper fading into the background noise of what IS and adds it to the to-do list.
Body demands, "Stop!"
Dirt hears this as a voice that is now in the way of what IS, and becomes increasingly annoyed with this presence of body demands.
Body shouts, "STOP!"
Dirt is annoyed. Body is annoyed. And neither one knows how to stop...or how to reconnect.
Body screams, "STOP!!!" so loud that others around Dirt can't help but hear, and are rattled/disoriented by this. Body and Dirt are at war and no one quite understands why. Dirt falls apart and crumbles dry/cracked in hands that reach out. Body begins (and continues) thawing outside the lines.
Humans now whisper, "stop..."
Dirt listens.
Body and Dirt lay still, listening for whispers of wisdom, rhythmic heartbeats in this city on the go...over there...across the water. Not here.
Here
DirtBody listens.
stop...
