Stolen Pride

Unmasked emotions

And shared rage

Feeling the sting

of the devil’s cage!

Soul tattered...

Blood splattered…

Thoughts barely gathered…

A lost goose for the gander!

Locked in lies…

Surrounded by demonic eyes…

My heart can only cry!

Smile tainted…

Mind played with…

Anger flying like a hollow tip…

Life sinking faster than a frail ship!

Confused, morels bruised

What is one to do…

Or how is one to feel…

When the sound of cold steel

Is the last thing you hear…

And you’re left alone to heal!

heartbreak

About the Creator

True Whispers

I am a simple man who loves to write poetry.

Writing poetry has always been a way for me to release my mind, and express my feelings.

To me, poetry has no limits, no walls, no boundaries.

Just an open space to speak from one's heart!
