God,
You saved me before,
told me....made me to keep living on,
and that I did,
all because You were beside me.
....................
You cradled me like a baby
while those around me shoved me away with neglect.
You stayed by me,
pulling me out of my dark depths.
.................
I am an adult now—
expectations, responsibilities pile,
understandably so.
But even though,
could You hold me always,
like Your baby,
like one of Your little souls?
..................
I hurt now,
like I did before,
but I may hold it in—
after all,
to be a grown-up indeed.
……………….
So cradle me, Lord, through it all,
though I stand, though I may fall.
For I remain Your baby still,
no matter what, I always will.
She’s sometimes just trapped, deep within.
______
I am still Your baby, Jesus.
Hold me forever in your precious love.

LOVE the Images but especially the last one!
Lovely and it was great how you began as child and then loved to adult troubles, but still need him to hold and comfort you.
