"Fading Echoes: Unraveling the Threads of Love in 'Still Was Loved'"

By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 2 years ago 1 min read

when i die

I'll leave everything, leave everyone,

Random words

My notebook page

Some memories of the flighty nature

Will fall on the dust;

Then you will cry.

My book of poems written in the chest

Hold tight

The eye floats well in warm salt water.

You will cry that day.

when i die

Gonna go far, far beyond your touch,

You will remember that day

You pressed the collar of my shirt as promised

Will be my heart

Part of my body deep inside my chest.

Then just a few months later

Someone else is your bridegroom, I am very much after.

How do you do this?

How to forget?

You still have that aggressive love

My chest is filled with pain.

when i die

I will live alone in a small house on the ground

You will remember that day

I was your lover

Today when I hear you are very lonely.

your betrothed,

Elsewhere, the house is tied to another.

You are so stupid

Who is love, how is the lover?

Even today you did not know.

I was not a flight attendant

My life was not messy

Still, I was a lover

I kept a mine of love in my chest.

love poems
