nerd

i guess i meet the qualifications for the role

a bookworm

curiosity flowing among my cells

a love of performing

perfect eyesight..wait. no. apologies.

Stereotypes are hard to fulfill.

where was i?

a bookworm

curious

general love of the world

does that count?

i guess i fit the expectations

but "Nerd"

not only is it American,

and a massive stereotype

but it is unclear

not-specific of it's target.

the victim is...debatable.

we all have the topic that lights up our eyes

the knowledge we will endlessly share to any of those willing to listen

and how is sport different to books different to theatre?

they're all skilled things,

to read,

play,

act.

so there is nothing to set us apart

and if i am a "nerd"

as your eyes imply

then you, dearest "nerd"

are one also.

a nerd for hockey,

for singing

for costume parties...

do not seperate us,

because there will always be something that fulfills our hearts.

-

Fin.
