Stay Close to Jesus.

Dear teenage self, listen close, I say,

A heartfelt message, to guide your way.

Amidst the chaos and the rush of youth,

Embrace the light, seek wisdom, and truth.

In moments grand and ones that bruise your soul,

Hold tight to Him, let Jesus take control.

For in His arms, you'll find eternal peace,

And strength to face the storms that may not cease.

Through joyful days and laughter's sweet embrace,

Remember, Christ's love shines upon your face.

His grace, a balm, when tears begin to fall,

He'll lift you up and mend your spirit small.

When friendships shift, like sands beneath your feet,

And loneliness, a phantom, you may meet,

Rest in His love, a steadfast, constant guide,

In His embrace, true refuge will reside.

In victories achieved, give thanks each day,

And never let pride lead your heart astray.

For every talent, every gift, He gives,

Is but a chance to bless, to love, and live.

When trials come, like tempests fierce and wild,

Fear not, dear self, you're still your Father's child.

For in His strength, you'll find the power to cope,

And through the darkness, you will see His hope.

Oh, teenage self, with dreams that stretch so wide,

Seek Jesus' path, let Him be your guide.

In His footsteps, tread, with faith that's pure and true,

His love will always see you safely through.

So, hold on tight, dear self, don't ever stray,

In His embrace, find solace every day.

Follow the Lord, through good and bad, you'll find,

A life of purpose, with Him, intertwined.

May this reminder echo through your years,

To chase away doubts, to silence your fears.

In Christ, your Savior, trust and rest assured,

He'll walk beside you, keeping you secured.

Dear teenage self, heed these words of mine,

Let Jesus' love within your heart entwine.

Stay close to Him, through every rise and fall,

And know His presence is your all in all.
