Stay and Look No Further

I9

By James GreenPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

A walk among the buildings in utter dismay at what the land has become. Steel. Brick. Come what may.

A look at the past in its greenery unrefined. "What has become of the land?" So far behind.

"Has it been better?" A rhetorical question for the steel and brick with a silent confession.

"Don't look back too far; you won't like what you find. Stay with me here, relax, take your time and unwind. Outside is too dangerous; sit here where it's safe. Beyond the walls, the gates, the lakes and further, monsters lay in wait for you." Look no further.
