Stay a little longer

Dear childhood friend

By Karun Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Stay A little longer

smile a little stronger

We were just eight

not knowing what was right

I saw your face in the torchlight

The golden days of youth

the smile made me alright

Playing in the street, a cricket match

we ran through fields so green

From building forts to climbing trees

our friendship is so sweat

even ants follow this poem's page

The sight when we meet

seasons change sunshine, rain, and snow

our friendship always continued to glow.

we have grown apart

memories makes warmth in heart

Stay A little longer

smile a little stronger

I saw your face in the torchlight

The golden days of youth

the smile made me alright

our friendship is so sweat

even ants follow this poem's page

The sight when we meet

to my dear childhood friend(s)
