Statue of Limitations
Diamond Dreams Movement

They think of us as crabs in a barrel, statue of limitation,
why won't we stand on each other's back to get out of the barrel,
Dreams come from a team, y'all still can't see,
had to be an ex drug dealer to ball like an athlete, that's the product they sold my community, only to keep us in,
every morning I roll up the weed & talkin' to Mary about things I'm going to do to help you, you & me,
see I meditate on we, not knowing the complete solution better than the next man,
but understanding each second is critical,
money is not the only resource to give to the people, crucial in some settings, not in most,
my mom always told me treating others as equals is the best gift to all, not to some or most, all,
my statue of limitations relies on respect & loyalty, not just give & get,
but the utmost of class, regardless if you lace it in the brightest diamond jewels or latest Designer,
showing respect to the well being of ourselves & the next man,
why at least can't we show love & care to better the world we're in, man,
when you going to change those limitations to things that involves love instead that hate you feed on
