Static in the Sky

You are the glitch, the break, the code,

You think in ways that stretch the grid

The current in the overload.

You dream aloud what others hid.

A rebel born in quiet clothes,

Not here for rules, nor for the trend

You smile and question how it goes.

You bend the shape but never bend.

They call you strange but you feel right,

You love like math: strange, sharp, exact

The way stars shine without invite.

You give the soul, but not the pact.

Still, when the world begins to tilt,

You bring the new. You shift the sky.

You’re there no noise, just vision built.

A signal few can qualify.

This poem really captures an interesting idea of someone who bucks the norm. It makes me think of those maverick engineers who challenge the status quo in tech. I wonder how they manage to stay true to their unique thinking while still making an impact. Do they face a lot of pushback? And how do they keep that creative spark alive in a sometimes rigid field?
