State of Mind

If you're seeking clarity,

you'll have to look elsewhere.

Lately I'm a little foggy.

I'm using my energy sparingly,

a little here, a little there-

But then BAM! Life robs me.

It's like I'm in a comfortable limbo,

but the longer I stay here,

the harder it will be to leave.

I like it better when my mind is clear.

It's kinda like not being able to sleep

because thoughts just won't stop racing

and half of it doesn't make sense,

and then you try counting sheep

but then you find yourself pacing

back and forth and it's back to square one again.
