Yes, it feels shameful
To feel the brunt of betrayal in
Return of your loyalty.
Yes, you feel foolish and labeled
As naive
“Stupid”
These are labels only sung by
Wolves in sheep’s clothing,
Those who basque in betrayal,
Celebrating false triumphs
Don’t listen to fools who say
It’s too late
Start over
Better to shine in the center than
hide in the shadow
