Sometimes I feel like I'm standing still,

While everyone around me gets their fill,

I yearn to move, but legs are bound,

So I shall listen to their sound,

A sound of progress, happy and content,

The sound of a drive I can only lament,

For until I can conquer my own self will,

I will forever, be standing still.

This is a poem from many years ago when I was in high school. It is a touch short of 100 words, but hopefully you still enjoy it. I feel like altering it so many years later would lose the message somewhat.
