sweater in August

because: Maine

we come upon

wobbly cairns

sea-cliff stones

mysteries declared

especially when

middles are

thin.

Guess.

i say: prayers

to salt, Atlantic air

you say: way-markers

i say: to where?

you know it’s true,

it’s only just blue

over there, there

and there.

Love anything that mentions Maine. This brought me right there 💙
