Spring in Full Bloom, Too Soon
Early spring too blossomy to tell if real

I breathe in the changing air,
From shivering mornings to steamy afternoons
Climate change is in full bloom,
Conducive of emotions, confusion, illusions,
Festive syllables of reels, feels, dancing, thrillers of ideas,
What-ifs, why so hot, why so cold,
What is a normal average temperature for this world?
No foothold, construction of our own destructive infrastructure,
Spring is merely here early to tell us, nudge us,
Towards common sense, suspense it creates,
It shakes and breaks beliefs and traditions of past generations,
Sensations of losing oneself to the vastness of the elements,
Greedy into nonsensical expressions of rage, climate, catastrophe, shame,
Our doing they say, but is it really mundane?
Technological revolution, profusion, collusion of fumes,
Runes foretelling, future predictions, extinction, destruction,
Imminent paraphrasing of life, fighting for survival despite
Decisions and derision from ups, downs, promises of the Gods,
A better future, life after death, parallel universe, reincarnation,
Intentional rebirth and contemplation to become
Better, together, inch by inch,
Uniting our efforts to help nature survive, and us,
as a specie, to continue to thrive,
Crossing fingers for spring, for life, for fruits, vegetables and other crops
to keep us alive…
Is this spring real or just a mirage of the blooms of desire?
