something I don't dare
to remember, still haunts me
when autumn leaves fall.

I got inspired to many haikus for the Falling Leaves challenge, but not all of them was about the falling leaves, as the prompt requested. Some were simply inspired by the season. Anyway, I still wanted to share them.

Hauntingly beautiful. It feels like the whisper of a past that refuses to fade, carried on the chill of falling leaves. So delicate, yet it pierces the heart. 🍁
This haiku is the embodiment of being left alone with our thoughts. It's terrifying. I felt a kind of lonliness come over me. Then the skeletons came out dancing, and now I've got to send them back into the closet. Love the photo choice. And I am so glad you gave this one a chance even though it was outside of what the challenge prompt called for. I personally really enjoyed it, especially with that backdrop. 🤗❤️
Memories good and bad are always there, but we must still remember the good with the bad. Good job.
Haunting yet beautifully expressed.
I feel we all have something like this that haunts us. Loved your Haiku!
