Spelunking

Cave

By Harper LewisPublished 12 days ago 1 min read

Emptiness and doldrums,

punishment exponential to the crime,

one of passion and love, the sin

of loving too much repaid

with another unguided tour

of the abyss. I know my way around.

Perhaps I’ll arrange some of my rocks,

build a fire, stay here with my words.

I'm a weirdo nerd who’s extremely subversive. I like rocks, incense, and all kinds of witchy stuff. Intrusive rhyme bothers me.

Know that feeling. Bring stuck in the cave internal. Hugs. This was written exceptionally well if that's any consolation.
