Finding the light at the end of the tunnel was what I hoped for you,

to see the through the darkness and no longer be afraid of the shadows behind you.

The hurt, the pain, the sorrow,

all would be a distant nightmare no longer haunting you.

You chose to do a full 180 back to the darkness,

back to the hurt,

running away from the light,

from me.

I can't save you from what you don't want to be saved from,

I can't watch you dive head first into the pain you once said you wanted to never feel again.

My words will fall on deaf ears,

and I am speechless.
