A Poem

What is the difference,

Between you and the mad?

How are your fears better,

Than the desperate and sad?

You have every right to speak,

But you expect to heard,

With little interest or care,

In the worth of your word.

You have so much to talk about,

And still have nothing to say;

“But what has meaning got to do,

With me getting my way?”

It’s a play of words.

A dance of debate,

It’s an excuse for you,

(And your ego) to masturbate!

We can list all the ways,

In which the world can turn,

But what good is that,

To those who don’t wish to learn?

They are guests most unkind,

To talks they would abhor,

Using their time to stall,

With convoluted metaphor.

The only discussion they want to hear,

Is of agreement and praise,

For calls of genocides and cruelty,

Just like the good aul days.

Yes; all are equal,

In between our free shores,

But no one has the right,

To demand the removal of yours.
