Thoughts on future love and relationships

I shant ever know

To whom I shall marry

Perhaps some young bachelor

Who does nothing but play

Perhaps some young man

Who works all the day

Or who does nothing else but sit and complain

I shant marry a gentleman

Too gentle for birds

Always expressing his love in only words

Yet neither the good man

Who follows his faith

For I have good faith his faith has my place

I don’t want the attention of a young infant child

Nor do I want gifts as a spoilt child will take

I do wish for love, affection and trust.

But also companionship is definitely a must.

Never shall I know if he be dark or fair

Long or short hair; for that I don’t care

Pleasant to the eye, the ear, and the nose

Loving and tender yet also this

A mind of his own, hobbies not all mine

Different to me but similar as well

I shant know to tell anyone which man is best.

But I shall when my heart claims he be

better than the rest.
