Spectrum of Life
Color whispers and it shouts.
It speaks volumes and pervades essence.
From who and what we are, how we love,
To the places and memories ingrained that become us.
Color is the absence and presence of light;
The truth of our frequency.
We carry it in our skin...
Pigments, hues, and shades.
Color seeps into our biology,
That which resides within and without ourselves.
From the cones, rods, and irises of our eyes,
To the irises, trees, and flowing blades of grass
That squish softly beneath our feet.
We feel it through our very senses:
In our synesthesia twilight.
We feel it ebb and flow with the passing of time,
As our television screens tune in to the times.
From the moment the blind now see,
When a baby first glimpses the world,
Through a pair of EnChroma lenses...
Color speaks; what colors do you see?
