The morning light cracks through the sill
Looks the way tangerines taste
Sitting across from you
Legs wrapped
Blanket intertwined
The soft silver tousle of our hairs
Peering into the depth of your eyes
Searching
You glance into me
Tilting my head towards my heart
Looking away
You are the one
The one of many
Almost just right
Just not quite
I long for you when you're not around
Perplexed when our presence shares no ground
There is a stone
For which I'll follow
Into the sweet blossoming of what is to come
Bearing fresh fruits and an abundance of water
To tend to this luscious garden of mine
Delving into the soil of me
For whats to come brings great harvest
