Sleighbells ringing, snow so bright,
Families gathering, hearts so light.
Tinsel sparkling, carols sung,
In the holiday spirit, we are young.
There's something about the holiday season, specifically the Christmas Holidays, that adds a unique spark and glow to everything. I haven't seen that with any other holidays. When you go out on snow-covered streets and the temperature is below freezing, you expect a gloomy air, but due to Christmas, the streets are alight. Soft tinkling resounds in your ears, and people on the streets are not alone anymore - they are with their families now. Everywhere you turn your head, you see grandparents being dragged by their grandkids, and adults hanging around with their parents, which is rare on normal days.
It's the spark of Christmas - making us forget everything and live in the moment because in this moment, we can feel young, carefree, without any burden or trouble.
