Space

A poetic intermingling of a metaphor for space, and the need for it.

Space.

Galaxy’s trapped in time,

Stopping at the leisure of you.

A time only chosen by fate,

A time for you to choose.

Attached to the core of earth,

You take flight to the farther lights.

Knowing full well you will be safe after leaving, because the earth will keep you grounded.

The earth is safe for you,

Oxygen and good health it will provide you on your journey.

It understands the depths in which it can not hear of your overbearing soul.

The earth has carried you,

It understands your need for space.

So attached at the core you prepare for the unknown and uncharted.

As you leave you finally know what the earth really meant by the words love and live.

As you continue in light years, it feels as if all of life as you have known is in slow motion. As you drift you feel a heaviness that lessens.

Your mind, soul and body become light.

Your heart has never felt such relief.

The knowledge that aloneness is no longer aloneness but rather a togetherness with you and your silence.

It’s gratitude and honor for yourself.

Your worth is at a level in which never felt possible.

Love abounds.

It skips.

It sings.

A silent chorus of belief in self is overwhelming.

It brings tears of relief and a detachment from pain.

You find yourself flooded with a sense of freedom in self.

This all happens during your travels.

Then.

Darkness falls and burst of light and glimmering warm light clusters are all around. You find joy in the color and understand light and it’s power.

They dangle in perfect harmony around you as if hung individually by a creator divine. Hung on a invisible string that is unshakable.

But even the stars were given free will, so they must explode and fall. A falling star is a new life being born. For we are the stars.

As I look at them they glow of loved ones.

I look down and the earth astounds me with it’s beauty.

It’s lavished blue waters and lush greens.

From space.. earth looks like it was meant to look. It is flawless in its creation.

It is the one that holds.

It’s existence in undeniably the most beautiful sight to the human eye because it depicts existence.

Humanity.

All.

And yet we forget the life all around and for infinity. Life is never to be fully discovered because our brains can’t get bored.

As I stare down in pure gratitude,

My heart is at full peace.

I needed to step away from earth to remember it’s beauty.

It’s unwavering love,

It’s sacrifices for us knowingly.

Earth is a provider.

And I forget to thank earth.

To help preserve.

It is energy and I have now unlocked the needed hope.

The long awaited love I have been searching for and it has been this whole time.

I exist on earth because I am apart of the earths life.

I must live with a worth in which I am so special that I am apart of the earths plan.

I rest my thoughts and star blankly.

Into space,

As I drift to sleep,

Knowing full well I will be waking up on earth.

I now understand appreciation.

I understand space.

How unworthy I am to be here,

And yet the earth gave me this chance to gave a different perspective.

Because earth loves,

And understand how space will make you feel.

It never was offended and it new you needed help.

You are loved.
