Such beautiful dreams

I have about you

I can't meet you in person

So I find my way to you

The only way possible

Or maybe we find each other

Like last night

We were in a crowded room

Searching through the people

For each other

To meet face to face for the first time

When you saw me

You headed straight toward me

You reached out your hand

Asking for mine

Your palm was soft and gentle

As well as tough underneath

Like southern magnolia leaves

From the tree of my favorite flower

I knew you would never let me go

Even as you slipped away

Back into the crowd
