Starting off with winter fuel
On a granite table nestled with
Universal cuterly and
Polite attire in a dining room
Steam pours from the
Orange liquid as the round
Utensils dive into a vegetable
Pool
Spices from botanic gardens start thier
Obbligato with great maestro and even
Unused notes and flavours are destined to
Prosper on the tongue
Salvation and sincerity
Onboard a cruise ship’s dining room
Umbrella of earthy foods like
Potato and leek
Sharing bread rolls and butter sticks
Ogling stacks of wine
Under large crystal chandeliers
Playing classical music as the boat sways
Spending our small wages on a night of leisure
Oxygen is being put to good use
Unmatched by anything else
Perfection is something rarely seen

It's difficult for me to know where to start with a review of this book as it was, for me, an entirely unique experience and one that I'll probably never have again. I don't want that to be interpreted as unenjoyable but it has left me scratching my head a little and ruminating on its content, its themes and its characters.
