Sounds of Distraction
An entry for the Moment of Silence Acrostic Challenge
So exhausted and fully worn down by my own thoughts
In these soundless surroundings I hear the echoing of regrets
Leaving me as uncomfortable as a lost child
Emptiness fills me in this absolute stillness
No conversation or music to fulfill myself
Cease fire on these emotions please
Envelope me safely back into the sounds of distraction
