Soul to Soul

Tonight, I felt it again —

that quiet space between us that doesn’t need words.

It’s not just love.

It’s not just closeness.

It’s something deeper, softer… almost holy.

It feels like our souls recognize each other

from somewhere far away.

Like we were meant to meet in this lifetime,

to remind one another

what love is supposed to feel like —

When we sit together in silence,

I feel safe —

I feel a sense of safety deep within my soul.

Like I don’t have to explain myself.

Like I’m already understood.

We don’t talk much about

“forever.”

our eyes meet,

there’s this stillness that feels like a promise.

Not loud. Not dramatic. Just... true.

There is something sacred in the way he listens,

in the way he notices the things I don’t say.

He sees the sadness I hide behind smiles.

He hears the tremble in my voice

before I even cry.

And I see him too —

the way his silence speaks,

the way his heart tries to stay strong

even when it’s tired.

We meet each other there,

in that in-between space

where ego disappears

and only the soul speaks.

We’ve both been broken before.

We’ve both been afraid.

But here —

in this quiet connection —

we are not fixing each other.

We are just being.

Present.

Patient.

Real.

It’s rare — this feeling.

This sacred space between two hearts

that don’t need to chase or prove.

It just exists.

Steady. Gentle. Deep.

I don’t know where life will take us.

But I know this —

what we have is not ordinary.

It’s soul work.

It’s love that heals in silence.

It’s the kind of connection

people pray for.

And I’m grateful I found it.
