The Sum of our Parts

Negative thoughts, fears, mindset
Trembling, wavering, avoiding,
Shaking, crying, longing,
Denying, resisting , questioning
Sadness, loneliness, shame
Is just a part of the sum.
Subtract it.
❤️
What we see when we open our eyes anew
What we hear with fresh ears
What we feel when we unfurl and find our true selves
What we learn when we listen to the Spirit who is within us
What we gain by surrendering all to learn to love our selves
What we receive when we trust completely
Where we go when we throw the world map away and look to the heavens
What we keep by giving material stuff away
Is just a part of the sum.
Add it.
❤️
THIS is the sum of our parts.

Whoaaaa, this was so deep and beautifully written! Loved your poem!
Such a beautifully uplifting poem! It truly speaks to the heart—reminding us that even in the face of our struggles, there is so much more to discover and embrace within ourselves. The balance of subtraction and addition is so powerful. ❤️
Great job this is very emotionally moving and gets a very powerful point across to the readers!
Oh I like this a lot. The way you listed all the things we should let go of, the list made it feel urgent and important. And how you fill our hearts with a glimpse of how things could be when we add stuff like: looking to the heavens and giving away material things etc, it felt like ive already added them all, which makes me want to take action. The picture at the end was a nice touch. 👏🏾👌🏾♥️🤗
