Thankful for the Rain...

Coffee in hand, rain tapping the glass,

Comfort in stillness, moments that last.

Peaceful solitude, in my warm abode,

Watching the world outside, in this serene ode.

Raindrops like tears, fall from the sky,

Nature’s symphony, in a lullaby.

Steam rises from my cup, the aroma divine,

Warming my soul, like a comforting wine.

The world outside, blurry and grey,

A tapestry of mist, in a world at bay.

Quiet whispers, of a gentle breeze,

Bringing calmness, to my mind at ease.

This moment of stillness, in a world so fast,

A reminder to slow down, and make this moment last.

Sipping my coffee, in my cozy nook,

Thankful for the rain, and this moment to look.

The rain will end, the sun will come out,

But this memory, I’ll cherish no doubt.

For in this moment, in this peaceful place,

I found solace and a smile on my face.
