Soon, Moon Boon, with No Spoon
~

here is a
moon boon
a beam gleam
it seems
I almost brought it to you on a silver spoon
but I balanced it on my head instead
for you craned your neck for far too long
and, to me, that felt uncomfortable and wrong
so here he is
for you to cradle if you wish
this gift, how could you resist?
this exact
balancing act
a pact
with myself
I made
that I wouldn’t
touch it to avoid more craters
with my fingertips
instead I’d bring it steady
with my forehead grips
for you to not miss
and to give him a gentle kiss
with your lips

Great job with this one, and the rhyme scheme :)
This one feels like a dreamy, slightly surreal lullaby like a secret between two people who trade gifts made of light.✨
An opportunity to kiss the moon is rare, especially when held by forehead grips. I'd like to kiss the 🌙😊✨
Wonderful! Great job. I see a sweet silliness here meshed with the almost reverential act of offering this gift
