Riding on his high thoroughbred horse
Adorned with colours, his regalia - a festival of colours
Drummers drumming, trumpeters and griots singing his praises
Majestically galloping through the streets amidst cheers
Jubilant kids with roses in hand
What a sight to behold
He emerges from the narrow alleyway
Here comes their beloved
The son of the caliphate
"Hurray, Hurray" they chanted
May your reign be long
A generous and selfless being
Loved by a vast majority
Loathed by a tiny few
It's a new dawn for the caliphate
Hope and prosperity anew
A king coronated, to lead and not to rule
None other or even better
But,
The one true son of the caliphate!
