There's a world inside that few can see,
Where silence dances quietly.
A mind that runs both fast and deep,
While outwardly, it appears to be sleep.
Crowds bring warmth but also weight,
So distance often feels like fate.
Laughter shared feels rich and wide,
However, there's comfort found inside.
The smile appears beneath the cloud.
A thousand things not said out loud,
Just drifting quietly through the crowd.
There's love enough to flood the skies,
And pain that hides behind the eyes.
The joy is real, the ache is too...
Both coexist, both part of you.
The pull to speak, the urge to run,
The need for space, the draw for fun.
To be alone yet not feel gone,
To feel too much, yet still press on.
Always watching, never quite in,
A quiet soul beneath the skin.
Not broken, odd, or out of place,
Just living life at your own pace.
Thoughts like rivers, always bend,
No need to fake, no need to blend.
You feel it all, the sit unseen,
Somewhere calm, somewhere between.
And that's not wrong... It's just your way,
You walk the night, you meet the day.
Not one or two, not black or white,
But everything in layered light.
So when the world can't make you fit,
Don't shrink your soul to match their script.
There's nothing wrong with how you feel.
You're not too much. You're just this real.
