Somewhere between here and there: In the Gap
Moving through orders of magnitude

Chaos existed in a vacuum before the universe and stardust,
and still exists in mankind, who arose from the earth’s crust.
But as forces from the universe and minute particles connect
differences are adjusted, altered and transformed as they transect.
~
In an intrinsic or induced momentary gap, time has dilation or dilution.
The spinning gap holds potential for a repeating timeless revolution.
In this pause, wishful thinking, imagination and illusion form.
Affinities join and, from the surface, a new creation is born.
~
Fractal order in the Cantor dust forms cascades in the same direction.
Random events create the intimate mystery of the pause in seclusion.
Ambiguities connect, then transcend time and place.
A new whole enters a different three-dimensional space.
~
The pause connects through orders of magnitude
through a torus, a gap without a nucleus, that is skewed.
It is found in the spiral arms of the Milky Way, red blood cells,
and companion sister cells in plants, where healing excels.
~
The gap exists beyond the screen between reality and its shadow.
It speaks with a silent voice that echoes darkness and a brighter glow.
The past, present and future send messages to a receiver.
In the power of a moment, they swing a conscious and unconscious lever.
~
When emotions come face to face with the soul information is accessible.
Hidden possibilities from the cosmos and microcosm become expressible.
~
In the gap between when the moon is empty of full,
or one cell becomes two, there is an essential breath with a pull.
~
The gap lays between the heat of day and a breath of wind,
It holds a timeless signature of authentic fulfillment and chagrin.

My stories usually present facts, supported by science as we know it, that are often spoken of in myths. Both can help survival in an ever-changing world.
