Something Tells Me A Terrific Storms Coming Soon

The ocean says it all!

Stormy seas at Blue Bay, Western Australia_ Authors image_2024

The blinding wind whips up the white

To put atop the waves,

The water swells and crests on high’

Another storm brewed overnight.

The sky is pink this early morn,

The sun’s about to rise,

The clouds are dark, the winds are strong

Behold the sailor’s warn.

The fish don’t care; It affects them not,

Tucked in their watery bed.

They swim around inside their home,

Oblivious to the storm ahead.

Churned and whipped beyond compare,

The ocean looks like liquid snow.

The bird can’t fly against the wind,

Too strong to go anywhere.

A savage day is on the cards,

The waters tell me so,

Grey and grim, a dirty green,

A day for true diehards.

The rain pours down, the wind it roars,

The storm it comes no more.

By the looks of all I see outside -

It’s already here, for sure.
