Something New.

This morning I woke and everything was new.

My skin glimmered as if the sun had chosen it first.

I cannot say how it came,

but I know it was sent from Heaven.

On my table rests a jar of honey

and the air itself tastes sweet.

Every thought is bright,

every word a soft note in a golden song.

A gentle strength moves within me,

and I have entered a new agreement of joy.

Something new.

All things new.

The same destiny,

but different companions for the journey.

One constant remains,

God, the Author of it all.
