I used to be somebody’s baby!

But not yours.

I once was somebody’s Maybe!

But not yours.

I made it through one, but couldn’t find the entrance to your other doors!

I just can’t fight the way my energy flows when you touch me!

I have to pull back!

But from what I could see, you belong to me!

Why, why, why?

Must I always let go in order to be free?

I want to hold you; I want to encourage you!

Damn!

Don’t you think I deserve the same for me?

The untouchable Pedestal I placed you on I can sadly see,

You never deserved to be!

I gave you too much of me!

Give me my soul back!

Give me my voice back!

You holding me hostage and you don’t even want me!

I need to be free!

Why?

I need to find that person in me!

The one that loves me!

The one that respects me!

I’m somebody’s woman!

Even if you can’t see!

I’m his present that heals his past!

I’m his twin flame answering the call of his broken soul!

I’m his other half dripping heavens gold!

I’m a woman even if you never see!

So, I thank you!

You opened me up, the world I can finally see!

You gave me unanswered texts, forgotten phone calls!

No common courtesy!

I know, way too busy for me!

Thank you for allowing God to send my future to me!

Finally, free!

I gracefully leave but you always got a friend in me!
