Some things that will never change

i remember when i used to play basketball for fun,

But now i dont even know how to play,

I remember when i saw police i had the urge to run,

Now when i see them i smile and wave,

When i was younger i used to rush to hang out with friends,

Now i cant find the time and honestly i dont try to hard thats just sad,

I used to like riding my bike poppin wheelies again and again,

Even grown up with kids i still do that,

I used to be so quick to say no i was kind of mean,

Now im quick to listen quick to say yes,

I even give advice how theres a place for everyone where the grass is always green,

And say i love you and God bless,

Love used to be so hard to come by,

Girls were always so sweet but yet not so nice,

They still are but now i understand them thats a lie,😜

But i really do try and they are smart and some have good advice,

Life is hard,

But life is sweet too,

You can go far,

But theres alot to learn alot to go through,

I used to hate school,

Now i wish had stayed,

This hard work wasnt worth just bein cool,

Geeks in my school now makin big bucks while im barely gettin paid,

As a teenager i was hot stuff,

But now i wish i were the nerd then,

I was cool i was tough,

Just wish i could go back and try again,

Life doesn't give second chances though,

You make your choices you live with what they bring,

I used to always be on the go go go,

But now i see it got me nowhere didn't gain a thing,

But not too much in my life stayed the same,

But i love my family in the sunshine snow or pouring down rain,

Everything happens for a reason so really deep down i have no shame,

God loves me my family loves me too and that is SOME THINGS THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE,
