Some things have no words

This isn't one of them

My love is like a child’s drawing hung on the fridge without explanation. I could explain it to you until I am blue in the face but I am not sure you will ever see what I drew the way I see it. It is bright and colorful and has lots of movement, you have to look at it from all angles to be sure you didn’t miss anything. Most likely you will.

My love is like a child’s drawing with more colors than necessary but does not clash. It’s busy in parts and sparse in others and somehow always knows exactly when to stop. Like my love, I tried to tell you with my words, but it didn’t translate. So I had to draw it out for you.

My love is like a child’s drawing made entirely for you. Every line holds your hopes and dreams woven together with the white of the paper. One of a kind, handcrafted with a heart full of you Priceless. Yet would look out of place framed next to a Picasso or a Renoir. Better suited for the kitchen where life’s biggest choices are often made.
