Hi Darla. Your poem is so true. The world is stuck in a rut right now. I just read your comment on the previous winner of Uncommon. Actually that was the first question that came to my mind. Then I read the poem again. IT is uncommon in that it is written in an uncommon way. At least that is my take on it. Nothing wrong with asking questions, it is your right. Vocal surprises us all the time. Be well.
