Solitary Struggle
A Single Mother's Lament

Her weary eyes,
Tell stories untold,
Of battles fought,
Of strength tenfold.
Nights without slumber,
Days without pause,
Carrying the world, the world,
On burdened jaws.
A heart divided,
Between love and strife,
Nurturing dreams,
Amidst hardship's knife.
Teardrops like diamonds,
Shed in silence,
A facade of strength,
Her only defiance.
Alone in the tempest,
A lighthouse she stands,
Guiding her children,
Through life's shifting sands.
No shoulders to lean on,
No hands to embrace,
Yet she rises each morning,
With hope on her face.
A portrait of courage,
A symbol of might,
The single mother's journey,
A beacon in the night.
